Hi Friends!
If you’re anything like me (and most of the world), you can’t help but find yourself bopping along to Taylor Swift’s latest album, 1989. In fact, you probably know all the words. And you feel like you’ve given in. You’ve given into The Swift.
You’re probably also like most people and can swear up and down that she’s saying “Got a lot of Starbucks lovers” in her song “Blank Space.” You can’t unhear the words. You can’t hear that she’s really saying “Got a long list of ex-lovers.” Well I’m here to tell you, you’re not insane.
In honor of this popular misheard lyric, and while practicing my watercolor calligraphy, I thought I’d play with the lyric. I have a tendency to write funny things when practicing calligraphy. Somehow it’s better than when I attempt to write meaningful and serious phrases. What can I say? I’m just not a serious person!
So go ahead and sing this wrong lyric to the world. We’ll be singing right along with you.
